  • Would my property sell for a higher price with an agent?
Not necessarily — and in many cases, private sellers achieve just as strong (if not better) outcomes without one. When you sell privately, you have a natural advantage: you're not paying thousands in commission or inflated marketing costs, so there's more flexibility in how you price and negotiate. That can put your property in a stronger position — especially in a competitive or price-sensitive market. Even if you sell slightly below what an agent might quote, you can still come out ahead oveFew readers
  • I have a sole agreement with an agent - can I still list with PropertyNow?
Yes - A sole agency agreement still allows you to sell your property privately, PropertyNow is not acting as an agent as we have no agency agreement with you. A sole agency agreement is similar to an exclusive agency agreement. You give rights to one agent to sell the property but you may find a buyer yourself. If you find a buyer who has not been introduced by the agent, then no commission is payable to the agent.Few readers
  • Is making a payment online secure?
Yes, our payment methods are completely safe. We offer many different payment methods to ensure you feel secure. You can pay via credit or debit card, bank transfer (upon request), Paypal, or ZipMoney. We never charge any additional fees for any payment method, and we won't surprise you with any hidden costs. Your total at check-out is all you're paying, period - unless of course, you want to purchase any additional extras later on.Few readers
  • Can you get my listing on realestate.com.au?
Yes, our service absolutely includes advertising on realestate.com.au. Private sales are not allowed on realestate.com.au UNLESS they are uploaded through a Licensed real estate agent such as PropertyNow. Realestate.com.au is completely aware of the PropertyNow business model and your listing is absolutely permitted. It is true that some other companies have been removed from realestate.com.au because of the way they approached their business but PropertyNow has remained for many years.Few readers
  • Do I need a contract of sale before listing?
You don't need a contract arranged in order to complete the listing process. Whether you need to have a pre-prepared contract of sale before marketing your property, depends on your state. NSW and ACT sellers are required by law to have a contract of sale ready, prior to advertising. SA sellers will have to have the section 32 form filled out prior to listing also. It's a great idea for sellers in any state to be as prepared as possible for a potential sale. You can purchase contract preparFew readers
  • Can I list a rural property?
Of course! There is no difference in the cost of our services for regional areas, nor do we charge any additional fees for shipping or signage. The process for selling or leasing is exactly the same, and we're here to support you through it.Few readers
  • Will PropertyNow answer questions about my property?
Absolutely not. We don't know your home, you do. Aside from the legal repercussions, we could also lose our real estate license, as we are simply marketing and not selling your property. Our staff will ensure that if anyone gets in touch with us directly about your property, that they are directed straight back to you - you'll always know what's happening with the sale or leasing of your own home.Few readers
  • What if it takes longer to sell or lease?
While the average time for customers to sell a property is less than 3 months and the average time for our landlords to lease a residential property remains just 17 days, we know every market differs so we offer generous time limits. Whilst our 'for sale' properties service remains an 'until sold' zero time limits model, to ensure fairness and sustainability, we have introduced a maximum listing period of 6 months for rental properties and 12 months for commercial premises. • I have an open agreement with an agent, can I still list with PropertyNow?
Definitely! If you have an open agreement, you're more than welcome to engage other agencies as per the terms of that agreement. Open agreements state that you only owe a commission to the agent that brings in the buyer. This means that if you use us (as we're only assisting you in selling) that when you sell, there's no commission payable.Few readers

  • Can I list with an agent as well as PropertyNow?
Absolutely! It's essential to understand agency agreements to know how you can list with multiple agencies. Traditional agents will want you to sign an exclusive contract; with an exclusive contract, you cannot list with us or any other agency throughout the term of that contract, as the agent you've signed with has an exclusive right to the sale and commission. We recommend discussing an open or sole agency agreement with your agent, reading through your contract carefully and ensuring you retFew readers

  • I'm listing with an agent (or was recently), can I still list PropertyNow?
