How long will it take to publish my listing?
Once your property is ready, we know you want it in front of buyers or tenants quickly.
First-publication timeline
- Submit the listing: once you select publication, our team receives it for review.
- PropertyNow check: we review the first publication for presentation, spelling and portal compliance.
- Portal sync: after approval, the listing is sent to the major portals.
If everything is complete, we often approve a listing in as little as 5 minutes, and aim to have it live within the hour during our support hours: 9:00 am–5:30 pm AEST, seven days a week. Listings submitted outside those hours are picked up when the team is back online.
After PropertyNow sends the listing, realestate.com.au and Domain often display it within 5–10 minutes, although it can take longer for every website in the network to update.
Can I choose a future start date?
Yes. At checkout you can:
- request publication as soon as possible
- choose to hold the listing until you're ready
- arrange a future publication date
What can delay first publication?
Check that you have provided:
- the required proof of ownership
- identification, such as your driver's licence
- complete property details
- suitable photos
If something is missing, our team will contact you.
Once the listing is live, routine edits don't wait for first-publication approval. You can submit updates 24/7 and they are sent automatically to the portals.
