Can I list a rural property?

Of course! Rural and lifestyle properties — acreage, hobby farms, small holdings, rural retreats — are listed on realestate.com.au and Domain in their rural category, alongside residential listings. They are not commercial listings.

There is no difference in cost, and no additional fees for shipping or signage, wherever the property is. The process for selling or leasing is exactly the same, and we're here to support you through it.

What decides the category is the zoning, not how the property is used. A rural-zoned property that happens to run as a farmstay or holiday rental still lists as rural.
