I have an exclusive agreement with an agent - can I still list?

While a current exclusive agency agreement remains in force, we generally can't publish the property through PropertyNow unless the agent releases you from the agreement in writing.

PropertyNow never charges commission, but an exclusive agreement may entitle the other agent to commission even if you find the buyer yourself. It may also include a continuing or protection period after the stated end date.

Your options are to:

• wait until the agreement and any relevant continuing period have ended
• ask the agent to release you early in writing
• have your solicitor or conveyancer review the agreement if you're unsure when you can advertise elsewhere

Once you're free to list, PropertyNow's normal flat fee applies and no commission is payable to us when you sell.
