Do I get charged fees to pay rent?

No. Rent payments are completely free for tenants, no matter which payment method you choose. The landlord pays for a subscription to PropertyNow which covers any fees incurred for your rent processing. Neither the landlord nor PropertyNow receives any additional fees or monetary benefits as a result of you paying via direct debit or PayTo.
