My listing has expired, how do I get it back?

If your listing has expired, it means 90 days went by without an update or a message from you, and we took that as a sign the property might no longer be available. If it's still on the market, getting it back is quick and free.

Within 30 days of the expiry email

Email support@propertynow.com.au, or reply to the expiry email, and confirm that the property is still genuinely for sale or lease on the advertised terms. We'll reinstate the listing at no charge. The day we reinstate it counts as an update, so you'll have a fresh 90 days before the next check-in.

A couple of things to know:

• Upgrades carry on. If you had a paid realestate.com.au or Domain upgrade, it continues to its original end date once the listing is back. The days it spent offline aren't added back. An Allhomes upgrade is the exception: it ends as soon as a listing goes offline for any reason, so you'd need to buy it again. See Will my property be listed on AllHomes.com.au?.
• Rental and commercial limits keep running. Reinstating doesn't extend the 6-month limit on rental listings or the 12-month limit on commercial lease listings.

Withdrawn for a different reason?

Sometimes we withdraw a listing as a precaution, before the 90 days are up. This happens when property data shows the property may have sold, or when the same property appears to be advertised by another agency. realestate.com.au requires us to act on these, so we withdraw first and check with you.

If the property is still genuinely on the market with us, reply to our email within 30 days and we'll reinstate it free of charge, the same as an expired listing.

After 30 days

Once 30 days have passed, the listing is withdrawn and we can't reinstate it. You can still relist the property from your dashboard, which creates a new listing with a new listing fee. See Relisting a property from your dashboard.

Avoiding it next time

Any saved change counts as an update, even a small one, and so does an email telling us you're still on the market. See Why we ask you to update your listing every 90 days.
