Logging in to your account (and what to do if you can't)

It's frustrating when you can't get into your account — but the fix is usually simple. Start with the right login page, then work down the checklist.

Step 1: Make sure you're on the right portal (the most common fix)

PropertyNow runs two separate platforms, so landlords and tenants each get the tools they need. If your details aren't working, check your URL first — landlord keys won't open the tenant door!

  • Landlords & sellers: log in at app.propertynow.com.au — manage your listings, view enquiries, edit property details and run your tenancy.
  • Tenants: log in at tenant.propertynow.com.au — pay rent, report maintenance and view your lease agreement.

Tip: If you've bookmarked a login page, check the bookmark matches your user type.

Step 2: Check your credentials

If you're definitely on the right portal but still can't get in:

  • Check for typos — a stray space before or after your email address is enough to block you.
  • Reset your password — click "Forgot Password?" on the login screen and we'll email you a reset link.
  • Mind the caps — emails aren't usually case-sensitive, but passwords are.

Step 3: Rule out your browser

Sometimes your browser tries to "help" by autofilling old, incorrect login details.

  • Try opening the portal in an Incognito or Private window.
  • If that works, clear your browser's cache and cookies (and any saved autofill data for our site).
  • For the best experience, we recommend the latest version of Chrome or Firefox.
