How do I supply the photos and details for my photosign?

Once you've ordered a photosign, the artwork is built from what you give us, not from your listing photos automatically. Here's how it works.

1. We email you a requirements request

Shortly after your order, you'll get an email asking for the details for your sign. There's also a card on your property page in your account headed Photo Sign Details Required, with a Complete Sign Details button.

2. Complete the sign details form

Click Complete Sign Details and fill in the form:

  • Sign type and orientation, and for auctions the date, time and auctioneer licence number
  • Display address (or tick to leave it off the sign), your contact name and phone, and the shipping address
  • Beds, baths and cars
  • Headline (up to 10 words) and description (up to 100 words)
  • Photos: upload the original files, at least 500KB each and ideally 1MB or more, so they print sharply. Phone screenshots and web downloads are too small for a 1.2 or 1.8 metre board.
  • Comments for the designer, such as which photo you want as the hero image

3. Submit it only when everything is ready

The form can't be edited once it's submitted. If your professional photos haven't come back yet, or you're still deciding on wording, wait. Changing details after submission means our designer has to start again, which slows your sign down. The card changes to Photo Sign Details Complete once we have what we need.

4. Approve the mock-up

Our designer prepares the artwork from your submission and emails you a mock-up to approve. Once you're happy, it goes to print and ships. Because of these steps a photosign takes longer than a standard sign, so allow extra time if you have a launch date in mind.

If you've already submitted and something has to change, reply to the mock-up email or contact us and we'll sort it with the designer. See also For Sale signs, photosigns and signage pricing.
