Why aren't my open homes displaying?
1. Public Open Home vs. Private Inspection
The portals (Realestate.com.au and Domain) only display times in the dedicated "Open Homes" section if they are added as Open Homes rather than as private inspections.
- If you have listed an inspection as a private inspection timeslot in your listing edit, it will not appear in the public open homes list. Instead, it is shown in the timeslots a buyer can book into if they wish to inspect.
- The Fix: Ensure you have selected the 'Open Home' option when adding your inspection time in the PropertyNow dashboard.
The "3-Hour" Sync Window
When you add or change an open home time, it is sent to the portals immediately, but it isn't always instant on their end.
- It can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours for the portals to refresh their data and show the new time.
- The Fix: Check the listing again in a couple of hours.
Expired, Past or 'Too Close' times
The portals automatically remove inspection times as soon as the start time has passed.
- If you are looking for an inspection time that occurred earlier today or yesterday, it will no longer be visible to the public.
- If you try to list an open home time too close to when it will happen, it also may not be shown. Try to allow at least 24 hours before your open home time.
How to double-check:
- Log in to your PropertyNow Dashboard.
- Go to your property and click on 'Inspection Times'.
- Verify that the time is correct and the status is set to 'Public'.
If everything looks correct in your dashboard but it still isn't showing on the portals after 3 hours, please let us know and we’ll give the system a "nudge" for you.
