I can't find my ad on realestate.com.au

If your listing is active in your PropertyNow dashboard but you can't see it when searching on realestate.com.au, don't panic! It is almost certainly live, but hidden by search filters or ranking logic.

Step 1: Get Your Direct Link

Before troubleshooting the search results, verify the ad is live:

1. Log in to your PropertyNow Dashboard.
2. Click on your Property Address.
3. Look at the QuickLinks section on the top right-hand side.
4. Click the Realestate.com.au link. If the page loads, your ad is live and visible to the public!

Step 2: Clear Your Search Filters

The most common reason owners can't find their own ad is that the portal has "remembered" a previous search with different criteria.

• Sticky Filters: Realestate.com.au often keeps filters (like price range, bedrooms, or land size) active from your last visit.
• The Fix: Go to the search page and click "Clear all filters" or "Reset." * Pro Tip: Look at the URL at the top of your browser. If it’s very long and contains words like "min-price" or "max-beds," those filters are currently hiding results.

Step 3: Understanding the "Portal Hierarchy"

Realestate.com.au does not show listings in a simple chronological order. By default, they prioritize listings based on Upgrade Tiers.

The Ranking Order:

1. Premiere Listings: Always at the top.
2. Highlight Listings: Below Premieres.
3. Feature Listings: Below Highlights.
4. Standard Listings: At the bottom of the pile.

Within each tier, properties are sorted from newest to oldest. If you have a Standard listing (the base package), your ad will appear after every single Premiere, Highlight, and Feature listing in your suburb—which could be several pages deep. When searching, you can change this order to by price or newest.

How to Boost Your Position

As your listing ages and new properties are added to the market, your ad will naturally move further down the search results.

• Upgrades: You can purchase a 30-day upgrade (Feature, Highlight, or Premiere) at any time to jump back to the top of the search results.
• Quotes: Pricing varies by suburb. To see your personal quote, log in to your account and click the 'Upgrades' button on the left-hand menu.
