How do I mark my ad as under offer or under contract?
When you’ve found a buyer, you’ll want to update your listing status immediately to let others know. However, because different websites (like Realestate.com.au and Domain) use different terminology, the process can sometimes be confusing.
The Difference: Under Offer vs. Under Contract
There is no "standard" industry term used by all portals.
- Realestate.com.au (REA): Uses the term "Under Contract."
- Domain: Uses the term "Under Offer."
Because PropertyNow syncs to both sites simultaneously, our system provides a single update tool that covers both.
How to Update Your Status
To change your listing to Under Offer/Contract, follow these steps:
- Log in to yourPropertyNow Dashboard.
- Click "My Account" in the top right corner.
- Select "Manage property and edit listings."
- Find your property and click the "Update Status" button (located next to the 'Edit' option).
- Select Under Contract/Under Offer from the dropdown menu.
Once you click save, our system will automatically push the correct terminology to each respective portal.
