How can buyers make an offer?

When a buyer is ready to make a move on your property, there are a few simple ways they can submit their offer. You can choose the method that works best for you and your buyer.


The most streamlined way for buyers to submit an offer is through our online system.

  • Via your listing: Buyers can click the 'Make an Offer' button directly on your PropertyNow listing or on our homepage.
  • Direct Link: You can also send buyers this direct link to complete the online offer form:https://app.propertynow.com.au/make-an-offer/


2. Directly to You (Email)

An official offer form is not required. Many sellers simply receive and negotiate offers via email. A written email offer from the buyer directly to you is perfectly acceptable.


3. The Printable Offer Form

If you are taking offers directly but prefer to formalize the process, we provide a printable offer form.

  • How to access: Log into your PropertyNow account and navigate to the “Forms and Downloads” section. You can print this out and hand it to buyers at your open homes.


What Details Should an Offer Include?

Regardless of whether the buyer uses our online form, a printed form, or a simple email, ensure they provide the following key details so you can make an informed decision:

  • Price: The exact amount they are offering.
  • Deposit Amount: The initial deposit they intend to pay upon signing the contract.
  • Conditions: Any terms the offer is subject to (e.g., subject to finance, building & pest inspection, sale of another property).
  • Settlement Timeframe: Their preferred settlement length (e.g., 30, 60, or 90 days).
  • Inclusions: Any specific chattels or fixtures they expect to be included in the sale.
  • Solicitor Details: The contact information for the buyer's conveyancer or solicitor.


Important Note: An offer form (whether online or printed) or an email offer is just a helpful way to collect all the details in one place for negotiation. It is not legally binding for either party until formal contracts of sale have been signed.
