Articles on: Pre-purchase questions

When should I complete my listing details and pay?

A common question we get is: "If I fill in all my particulars and pay now, does my listing go live immediately?" People also wonder how far in advance they should make payment.

You are in complete control of when your property goes live on the market. You can create your listing, fill in all the details, and process your payment days, weeks, or even months before you actually want the listing published.

How Deferred Publishing Works

Payment is required before your listing can be published, but completing your payment does not automatically push your listing live.

During the checkout process, we will specifically ask you to select your preferred "go-live" date. If you are planning to list at the end of the month for example, you can simply select 'Later' during the checkout. Your listing will remain safely in our system until you give the final green light.

The Benefits of Paying Early

We actually recommend completing your details and paying as early as possible. Getting the payment out of the way well in advance gives you a head start on your campaign preparations:

  • Immediate Sign Dispatch: If your package includes physical signboards, paying early means we can get your signs straight into the post. You'll have them ready and waiting long before your first open home.
  • Advance Booking for Services: If you have ordered any additional services (like professional photography or copywriting), paying early allows us to get those providers booked in and scheduled at your preferred times.
  • Pre-Launch Listing Review: It gives our team ample time to review and audit your listing draft. We can check over your details, ensure everything looks great, and have it 100% ready to launch the moment your preferred date arrives.

The Bottom Line: You can start building your listing and finalize your payment whenever you are ready. We will keep everything on hold until your chosen launch date.
