What is an energy efficiency rating (EER)?

Energy efficiency ratings (EERs) are supplied by your home builder, architect or an accredited assessor. An EER refers to your home's passive energy performance. Buyers and tenants can use it to gauge their likely energy costs and compare properties.

This field is only mandatory in the ACT, so if your property is in another state and you don't know the energy rating, you can safely ignore it.
