How to setup private inspection times booking
To save you from the back-and-forth of scheduling viewings, PropertyNow allows you to set up automated "Private Inspection" time slots. When enabled, potential buyers or tenants will see a "Book an Inspection" button on your listing and can select a specific 10-minute slot that suits them. Private inspection booking is only available on realestate.com.au, so these times won't show on Domain.
How the system works
When you set a range of time (e.g., Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM), realestate.com.au automatically breaks that window down into 10-minute booking slots, with a 5-minute gap between each. Availability of at least an hour works best. Avoid full-day or very complicated availability.
- User experience: The enquirer selects their preferred 10-minute slot and provides their details.
- Notifications: You are instantly notified of the booking via email.
- Automatic removal: Once a slot is booked, it is automatically removed from the available pool so you never get double-booked.
How to set up your Inspection Times
- Log in to your PropertyNow Dashboard.
- Go to ‘Manage Property and Edit Listings’.
- Click the Edit button next to your property address.
- Select ‘Inspection Times’ from the left-hand menu.
- Click the ‘Add New Available Time’ button.
- Select the Date, Start Time, and End Time.
If you want these times to repeat every week, click the Arrow Icon next to the time entry to make it a recurring period.
Managing your calendar
- AM vs. PM: Ensure you select the correct period. Remember that 12:00 PM is midday/lunchtime, and 12:00 AM is midnight.
- Sync time: Once you click Save, your new inspection times will typically appear on your realestate.com.au listing within 30 minutes.
- Cancellations: If you need to remove a time slot, simply return to the 'Inspection Times' menu in your dashboard and delete the specific entry.
