Do I need to show my property address?

No, you don't have to display your property address. When completing your listing, simply select the option to hide your address. This will ensure only the suburb displays online. Be aware that if you hide your address the map/location pin will be in the centre of the suburb and your listing won't appear in map view on the portals. realestate.com.au's property profile page for your address will also say the property isn't on the market, because showing otherwise would reveal the address. Your listing is still live and found through normal searches, and you can switch the address on at any time in Edit Listing.

If you are listing a rental, keep in mind that if you hide the address, tenants will need to fill this in manually if they are to apply online.
