Can I show a price range on my listing?

Yes. A price range is one of the standard display options, and realestate.com.au and Domain both accept it.

You can choose from:

• A single price — e.g. $850,000
• A price range — e.g. $850,000 – $900,000
• Custom text — e.g. "Contact agent", where your state allows it
• Hide the price

You can change between them any time from your listing's Price section. Whichever you use has to follow your state's rules — in NSW, for example, the two figures in a range must be within 10% of each other.

How a range affects search: realestate.com.au uses the lower figure in your range when buyers filter by price. For example, a listing at $430,000 – $470,000 won't show up for someone searching from $450,000 upwards, so set the bottom of your range with that in mind.
