# What if it takes longer to sell or lease?

Don't worry: we offer generous time limits. On average, our customers sell in less than 3 months and our landlords lease a residential property in just 17 days, but we know every market differs.

For sale listings have no time limit: our 'for sale' service remains an 'until sold' model. To ensure fairness and sustainability, rental properties have a maximum listing period of 6 months, and commercial premises for lease 12 months.

The only thing we ask of an until sold listing is a quick update at least every 90 days, so buyers know it's still genuinely available. Any saved change, or an email to us, counts.
