# How do phone enquiries work?

At PropertyNow, we use a 24/7 automated enquiry system. It is designed to ensure you never miss a lead while protecting your privacy and providing buyers with the information they need instantly.

Every PropertyNow listing is assigned a dedicated 1300 number and a unique **4-digit enquiry code** (found in your listing text).

**How it works for the buyer or tenant:**
1. **The Call:** The buyer calls our 1300 number at any time of day or night.
2. **The Code:** They are prompted to enter your property's unique 4-digit code.
3. **The Connection:** Our system instantly reads out your contact details to them so they can call you directly.

**Why we use this system:** It operates 24/7, meaning buyers get your number immediately without waiting for a human operator or leaving a voicemail that might never be checked.
