# Can I have extra text on my standard for sale or rent sign?

By default, to keep your sign as clean and readable as possible from the street, our standard For Sale signboards feature your phone number as the only custom information. (Rental listings don't include a sign — a For Rent sign can be ordered as an optional extra.)

We understand that some properties (like units at the back of a large complex, townhouses, or homes with rear-lane access) need a little extra direction for buyers.

**This is not something you can add yourself.** Extra text is arranged by our support team, and only if you ask **immediately after checkout** — signs go to print quickly, and once your board is with the printer it can't be changed.

**What we can add:** one short line, and only one. Typically a unit number ("Unit 4"), a second phone number, or — if you really need it — an email address. Brief directional text such as "Access via Smith St" is also fine.

**What we cannot add:** the full street address, property descriptions, feature lists (e.g. "3 Bed, 2 Bath"), multiple lines, or anything longer than a few words. The phone number has to stay large enough to read from a passing car, and there isn't room for more.

**How to request it**
Message our support team straight after you check out, with the exact text you want. If we hear from you after the board has gone to print, we won't be able to change it.

**How long do signs take to arrive?**

* **Standard For Sale signs** are usually with you within 3–7 business days of ordering.
* **Photosigns** take longer. After ordering you'll work directly with our graphic designer to approve the artwork, and only then does it go to print and shipping — so allow extra time.

**Stickers**
